There was so much love in the room the day I photographed Miles and his parents Tjada and Joe. I was touched by how they cared for him. And I absolutely loved photographing them.
Miles was born six weeks early and weighed 4 pounds 12 ounces. I met him two weeks later. Miles was just taken off the bili lights and was making great progress. Tjada explained to me how Miles was working on learning things that he would have been doing inside side of the womb. The most important thing was to get him eating. Miles ate a little bit from s bottle everyday. He burned a lot of calories doing so the best way to get him nutrition was through his feeding tube.
I am happy to report that Miles has done so well. He is now home with his mom, dad and big brother Colson!
