Danielle is an amazing mom. She is calm, loving and parents her children with grace. And somehow she makes it look easy with four kids. I was fortunate to spend a morning with her and four children to document the last of three sessions of her daughter Audrey’s birth. These sessions felt extra important to me because her husband is currently deployed in Afghanistan. I’m sure he can’t wait to meet his daughter. I wanted to provide him with photographs of his new daughter’s life since he couldn’t be there to share it with his family.

I adore kid chaos, but everything was it was truly controlled chaos throughout the morning routine as Danielle woke up her boys, fed them breakfast and got them dressed. She encourages their curiosity and embraces their goofiness. I especially loved the moments between two of her boys as they jumped and wrestled on her bed (something they love to do with their father) while she nursed Audrey.

Thank you for welcoming me into your home Danielle and inviting me to play a role in Audrey’s birth. You are an inspiration. It was truly an honor to document your growing family.
