“It feels so validating to have someone witness our everyday life,” said Mom.
“This shows why were always 20 minutes late,” said Dad.
I laughed.
“You have given us such a gift.”
I really think that’s true. But I also know families are giving me a gift too. I’m sure I won’t fully understand what it is until I’m a parent. But for now I am grateful to welcomed into a family’s life.
