I really love this family and it’s not just because the kids invited me to dinner after our morning Family Storytelling Session. But that was super awesome! It’s really special to be invited into a family’s home and document their real lives. And it’s truly become a passion of mine.
It makes me happy that I can show a family how special their lives are—from wiping mouths to teaching responsibilities to giving piggyback rides—these moments don’t last forever. Children grow and change.
These sessions give parents an opportunity to see how hard they work and how much they love. Their children get to grow up with photos that show how much their parents love them.
These photos also show who kids are at that moment in time. Sticks can be many things, you just have to use your imagination, and yes, you can romp and play soccer in fancy purple sparkly shoes!
