Some people think that Day in the Life Sessions are only for families with young children. I completely disagree. Each chapter of a looks and feels different. Things change quickly when kids are young. But I think the family dynamic shifts with each year of high school.
We did a lot in the afternoon I spent with the Effleys. There was baking, basketball, chasing around a naughty puppy, ice cream, games and, wait for it, a Nerf Gun Fight. From what I understand the Nerf Gun Fight is not part of a typical day. ☺ But sometimes your parents let you do something really, really cool, and that is something to remember.
