Mary sent me a text at 5:50 AM the day of our session: “I woke up extra early. I am so excited!” Now that is what I like to hear! I am exactly the same. I never sleep well before a Day in the Life session. I am always super excited (and incredibly paranoid that my alarm won’t go off).

Alex was reading books on the floor when Mary and I went into Alex’s room at 7:00 AM. Mary told me that he has been working on adjusting to his big kid bed. He wasn’t too sure that he liked it.

Alex is such a boy. He likes helping his dad, Tom, fix things. He loves cars and trucks. He drives his jeep around the backyard like a pro! (And he wasn’t even two yet!) He also loves his dog Cider. She is incredibly patient and sweet. Watching them run around the backyard playing with a rock was one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen.
