My husband and I went to Mt. Tabor Park to check out the Supermoon on Monday night. We sat next to this awesome couple who was super excited for the supermoon. My husband bonded with the man using Google Earth to track where the supermoon would rise. It rose next to Mt. Hood and the view was absoutely spectacular! Everyone around us was snapping photos, but the photos didn’t do it justic. That’s when I stopped and just watched. Took that mental picture and enjoyed. Before we left we went to check out the sunset on the other side of Mt. Tabor. This couple was enjoying the gorgeous Portland sunset overlooking the city. I couldn’t help but get low and make this picture. My husband told me to go over and ask them for their email so I could share this photo with them, but I didn’t want to disturb their moment.
