Making Waffles with Mom | Arlington Family Photographer

Moms, you do so much for your family! Each day, you solve epic scheduling conundrums, read bedtime stories, fix boo-boos, help with homework and give lots of kisses. Do you have photos of you and your children doing these daily activities? As your children grow and revisit images from their childhood, will they see you in the photos? Will those photos be posed or will they be able to see how much you loved them, read to them, cooked with them, and played games?

I want to document your special relationship with your children just as they are right now. I want to give you both memories that you can hold on to, look at and cherish. Read on to learn more about my Mother’s Day Mini Sessions.

I had so much fun spending the morning with Kelly and Max as they made Belgian Waffles for breakfast at their home in Arlington, VA. I really loved how Kelly helped Max count scoops of Mix and how she told him the directions every step of the way. My favorite moment might have been when Max needed his “hat” (new helmet) to cook or when Kelly showed Max the whip cream and she let him try it straight from the can! Luckily little guy! As a Arlington Family Photographer, it really can’t get any better than a session like this!
